My fellow hillaryvillagers:

It is with great humility to thank and congratulate all of you for the love, peace, joy and harmony you bring to the village.  As we celebrate our first anniversary, I am re-posting the very first blog thread that I wrote on June 12, 2008, as a reminder on how we got here and as a path to our continuing journey:

Title:  Send greetings to Hillary

Thank you, Senator Clinton

Godspeed Senator Clinton. Thank you for standing for us. We will follow you and will always be there for you in mind and spirit. Thank you for letting us in your village. We are here when you need us.

Thank you to your beautiful daughter Chelsea who inspired us with her heartfelt words of wisdom about her mom. We are proud to embrace her as she shares your vision for a better future for young people like her.

Thank you for your wonderful husband Pres. Clinton who always reminds us about how good the nineties were and for his enduring belief that better days are ahead with you as the President of the United States.

These past several months were filled with momentous events that I will always cherish. I will always keep you in my heart, you have enriched the lives of 18 million Americans with your courage and compassion.

God bless you! God bless America!

Much love,

Normita Fenn

Let us light our candles with prayers for our chief, her family and villagers everywhere.  Let there be peace and let it begin with hillaryvillagers.

I never deleted this blog thread. A meaningful message for me on how good it is to carry the past toward a bright future. Now one year later, her village remains standing with the same caring people who love our country. God bless the hillaryvillagers here and everywhere.

Welcome to the village pooh--yes, it has been a long year of many trials and tribulations. The village has been a home where we have been able to sound off and share with friends. Even though I feel as if I'm in political limbo, the village motivates me to stay informed, watchful, and critical. In many ways, I saw and experienced too much these past two years leaving me cynical of much. But I do believe the country will correct itself if we stay diligent.

Happy Anniversary kindred friends.

Good morning dear villagers!

Good to see you pooh and joy. It has been a year of learning and friendship in our village which had us come together under such regrettable circumstances. Through it all, our village continues to be a place of solace and hope in the mixed up and infuriating world of politics.

Thank you Hillary Clinton. Thank you Normita and thank you all dear villagers!

Have a cupcake and a beverage of your choosing to celebrate out first year!

Good Morning, dear Villagers...the fog bog is in full play again today...it's mild, about 72 degrees!!

I'm thoughtful and thankful this morning as we celebrate our Anniversary...our village has become an oasis in the midst of a troubled world...what a treasure we have of special people from coast to coast! Thank you all for enriching my life in varied ways...but especially thank you, Normita for trudging along thru thick and thin, keeping the lights on in the Village and giving us hope for our future!!

Yes, Pooh, it does seem like ages ago in many ways...thanks for dropping in...I hope we'll see you more often!

Joy, Joy, Joy...I don't think I've ever seen a picture of you, but I can imagine you working in your gardens with varied Hillary shirts on full display!! Stop by and let us know what's in bloom...your perspective is missed!

Annette...I hope you're doing well...we know you've been inundated in Sacramento...when you get a chance let us know how things are going.

I'm raising my coffee cup to all my Village family...may you all be blessed with continued good health, friendship and the power to make a difference!! God Bless....

Joy, I was on Puma a few days ago and saw that a note that you lost your Puma mug. I hope someone found a replacement for you. There is probably lots of memories and miles in that mug. Thanks for dropping by in the village.

I need to go shopping and buy my cupcake today for our celebration. As I mentioned yesterday, it thought it was appropriate that when I got to William Sonoma they had a 300 page Martha Stewart book on Cupcakes on the counter because it had just been released. But I am going to buy mine so the temptation is a short one.

I learned a small trick yesterday to spruce up cut strawberries and fruit. Zest some orange and lemon into the sugar that you use to sweeten the fruit and it adds an interesting extra flavor.

I'm going to start Pollyanna's "Glad" game. Feel free to add yours. I'm GLAD I'm not as sad as I was a year ago and that the village is here to keep us going in the right direction. Thank you Normita.

Happy Anniversary! Thank you Normita for your reminder e-mail. Some will say it's been a fast year but wow, it seems like forever ago to me that we first got together. Amazing to see where we have all landed. Annette has been swamped but wanted someone to greet you as well, so the best from Annette. I miss Celebrating Hillary's achievements with you and that one day we can Celebrate her together again.

Love to you all.

What a year it has been- thank you for not only keeping this site but for tending to it and expanding it and working so diligently and keeping us in the loop with your e-mails-
Lots of sorrow, lots of joy.
Hillary will continue on her path- she works hard and fights for the rights of all- Obama will get his one of these days- not sure when- never expected it to be so long-
But slow and steady goes the tortoise...
